My life is wretched. All my years growing up, I’ve been called nothing but dirty. And people made me feel dirty. There was a time I gave up on myself, but now things are looking up and I want to pick myself back up again. Let’s hope I’m given a second chance at life…..
The rays of hope appearing on my morning flight to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Vanishing Point
Hardly any posts lately. Busy working, and life is too blissful to have complaints. Someone loves me so much. He makes me happy and want to keep doing that. Sings me to sleep and watches me till I fall asleep. He just fills me with so much love that all I want to do is love him back with all my heart… ♥
The Girl and The Knight
With a life turbulent as the stormy seas
She is weary
She fears what she cannot see
In a future too scary
Her body is weak
Too tired to fight
The turbulence
Experienced all her life
She wants to lay down
Surrender to life
But what can be done
But fight more with her life
She wonders how long
Will this battle last
To drain her more of whatever has past.
Will it be till she breathes her last?
Her mind is a fortress
Protecting her heart
From what harm may come
To tear her apart
Judge her
She hopes people will not
For she’s tried her best
So give her a rest
Lay down the weapons
What she hopes to do
To stop this battle
To the ruin of her
The hope of help
From a brave knight
In his amour
Shall he fight
He shall save
Her poor soul
From this sea
Of stormy strife
Tear down her fortress
He shall do
Play with her mind
He shall not
Her heart is fragile
To be treated with care
Placed in the palm
Of the knight’s soft hands
Down with her fortress
The knight shall prepare
To fight to protect
This poor girl’s heart
Don’t go far off, not even for a day, because —
because — I don’t know how to say it: a day is long
and I will be waiting for you, as in an empty station
when the trains are parked off somewhere else, asleep.
Don’t leave me, even for an hour, because
then the little drops of anguish will all run together,
the smoke that roams looking for a home will drift
into me, choking my lost heart.
Oh, may your silhouette never dissolve on the beach;
may your eyelids never flutter into the empty distance.
Don’t leave me for a second, my dearest,
because in that moment you’ll have gone so far
I’ll wander mazily over all the earth, asking,
Will you come back? Will you leave me here,
dying?
